时长半小时的短片。故事是发生在TV版中途的番外篇，突出两位女主角的位置，并附带“歌姬”设定……主题曲延用TV版前半部的OP（但收录进剧场版时被取消）。。本片主要介绍黑人女歌手比莉．荷莉黛的生平故事，是一部“历尽沧桑一美人"式的文艺歌唱大悲剧。片中对毒品之为害描写甚为深刻，但对女主角吸毒原因则交代得简略，未能拍出深度。在片中饰演比莉．荷莉黛的戴安娜．罗丝是“至尊者"合唱团的女歌手，她首次亮相银幕即表演得十分落力，她因此被提名奥斯卡金像奖。另外比利狄．威廉斯、李察．普瑞尔等的表演也不俗，片中配乐由米契利．格兰创作。。This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。
