李雁雁生于合肥，是中国第一个赴国外留学的盲人。1985年秋，李雁雁感觉视力异常模糊，渐渐不能视物，医院确诊是青光眼发展成视神经萎缩，导致双目失明。失明后，母亲带他辗转多地治疗均没有效果，李雁雁决定直面命运，开始新的生活。他在12年间辗转日本、美国学医，克服难以想象的困难，获得帕默正骨大学博士学位，成为亚洲第一个盲人医科博士。而后，思乡心切的他回国，把在日本和美国学到的医学经验与中医科学融合，创造出新疗法造福更多的脊柱神经患者，《归雁》正是反映了盲人青年这一励志历程。。Veronica poses as a journalist seeking information about the group responsible for all the crimes committed against multiple women and children.
