春节，报纸出租启示：两位老人将自己出租。李家兄妹自小无父母，见启示后决定租下老人过个团圆年。老人女儿本来出国旅游，改变主意回家过年。却发现父母不见了，看到报纸开始了寻亲之旅……。"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。
