故事以一副在参赛中丢失的一幅画为引子，讲述了一个不知名的画家却在画展参赛上面残画因此而出丑，被媒体炒作后竟意外的一夜成名。因一副残画而瞬间的成名，却给画家带来各种烦恼，同行的谩骂与挤兑，媒体的跟踪•••完全打乱了画家易成明的生活，为了证明自己，易成明踏上了寻画之路。通过各种线索，易成明认为画作被滴滴打车女司机叶以珊所拿走，找到叶以珊上门索要，却阴差阳错的遇到了前去盗窃的两名笨贼、以及要谋杀叶以珊的杀手等。易成明在寻画的过程中，巧合的救下了叶以珊。当盗贼、杀手都知晓画作的价值后，把目标都转到了那副画上面。然而画却早已被叶以珊邮寄到了山村小学给那里的留守儿童当美术课的素材•••。This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。
