1987年にマンガが連載され大きな話題となった「おもひでぽろぽろ」（後にスタジオジブリの劇場アニメも公開）。算数で25点をとって大騒ぎ、初めて食べたパイナップルに大騒ぎ…原作マンガでは、小学５年生の少女・タエ子の日常がコミカルに描かれています。そして2020年、タエ子は64歳になりました。30代の娘と10代の孫娘との同居がはじまり、人生が大きく動き始めたタエ子。娘との小さないざこざを抱え、孫にかつての自分の姿を投影し、「昭和のタエ子」に後押しされながら、「令和のタエ子」は、“女優になる！”という新しい夢にむかって１歩を踏み出します。 原作マンガファンに劇場アニメファン、幅広い年齢層の人たちが、それぞれの思い出やそれぞれのタエ子を重ねながら、柔らかい心をとりもどしてゆく。そんな魅力の詰まったドラマです。。Just over 40 years ago, marriage in China was arranged by the state.
